You want the most euphoric and trippy experience you'll feel legally? Just get your dumbass to your nearest supermarket and buy any OTC cough suppressant with ONLY DEXTROMETHORPHAN HBR (DXM) as an active ingredient. If there's acetaminophen in it, you'll worst case scenario, die. Best case you'll puke a lot. And with guaifenesin, you'll puke a lot. SO DON'T EVEN TRY TO TAKE THE TAINTED SHIT!!
Okay great, now look for anything that's in pill/liquid gel form and grab it. You can get syrup, but if you're anything like me it'll be fuckin impossible to stomach. If you're above 18, go buy that shit at the self checkout. If you're below 18, they usually ID you but you can take your chances if being a shoplifting nigger isn't your thing.
Right, now you have the right shit. Before you take anything, make sure anyone that wouldn't condone your use of the substance is not gonna be there within the next 12 hours you're gonna be tripping. Make sure there's no possibility you'll have to drive within the time frame too. Having a trip sitter isn't really necessary unless you're a complete retard, I'd say it kills the vibe even.
Okay, for the actual dosing! For a first time user I'd recommend taking anywhere from 200-400 mg of active ingredient. Any less will be underwhelming and anymore will probably scare the shit out of you. Count out how many pills you're gonna take, they usually have 15 mg each in them (Or measure the syrup carefully if you're doing it the nigger way). DXM has a tendency to make you puke, especially if you've got a weak stomach. One hit of weed will fix that completely and make the trip a little better, it's not a necessity though.
You've taken your pills now, put on some music on headphones (This is important!!! The music euphoria from DXM is like none other!!) and lay down or sit on a sofa. It'll hit in about an hour. The hallucinations are not like something like shrooms or LSD, but they happen while you go into a dissociative state. They might be scary and you might think you're dying sometimes, but they are the trippiest, funnest thing I think a human can experience. The onset of the trip lasts about 6-8 hours and can either feel like an absolute lifetime or go by in a flash. Enjoy it, you can't really do this very often in your life.
Now, you might be wondering, "Is this shit gonna like kill me???" And in moderation, no. If you take the shit all the time though, it puts incredible strain on your heart and liver.
